NIRF Data Submission Checklist (DCS)
NIRF data is submitted on the online DCS portal (login.nirfindia.org) as tab-based web forms. Use this checklist to gather everything from the right department before you start.
Who supplies what

You do NOT enter publications/citations. NIRF pulls those itself from Scopus / Web of Science. You only enter patents.
Rules that trip colleges up
- Many money figures must be entered as a number AND in words.
- Use median salary, not mean.
- A Head-of-Institution certification is required at submit; keep sanction letters, audits and proofs for random audits.
- Submitted data must be publicly hosted for 3 years — and must match your NAAC (AQAR) and website figures.
